THE SANCTUARY is a heartfelt and adventurous wildlife documentary TV series set in Tasmania’s rugged wilderness. At its core is Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary - a vital hub dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing some of Australia’s most iconic and endangered animals, including Tasmanian devils, wombats, bandicoots, tiger snakes, and penguins.
The sanctuary’s transformation is driven by Greg, whose lifelong mission began as a child dreaming of owning Bonorong - a dream he fulfilled by turning it into a world-class refuge. Set against the breath-taking backdrop of wild mountains, pristine coastlines, and dense forests, THE SANCTUARY offers viewers an intimate window into the raw beauty of nature and the profound bond between humans and animals.
